As the economy and the hiring picture have improved since the wake of the financial crisis, employees have become more optimistic about their job security, the possibility of getting a raise and the prospects for finding a new job should they start looking. They’re less optimistic about the prospects for their companies’ fortunes. The message for employers: don’t assume your best workers will stay in their posts.
